In response to abstinence-only sex education and the current ‘if you’ve ever had sex, you are the same as a piece of chewed gum’ rhetoric, GCW created the You Are Not Chewed Gum campaign to educate young people about sexual health and safety by interactively showing how information is the best protection. The D.C. held Chew-A-Thon encouraging people to come together against abstinence-only programs that spread misinformation and shame became the largest social response in Trojan history.
